Can Vianvi Signature® Cabinet Refacing Modify Your Existing Cabinetry? Yes!

One of the most important features about the Vianvi Signature® Cabinet Refacing process is the ability to modify your existing cabinets to meet your needs without the costly expense of full replacement cabinetry. Let’s talk about several different situations which can create problems for other cabinet companies.

  1. You love the layout of your kitchen but you do not have enough drawer space. Most cabinet companies will tell you that there is nothing they can do to change your current cabinet configuration and you will need to replace them with new ones in order to achieve your goal. The installation professionals who install the Vianvi Signature® Cabinet Refacing have been trained on how to modify a standard single door / drawer cabinet and change it into a (3) drawer cabinet prior to the refacing process. New openings are created, new additional drawer boxes and hardware are ordered and the modified cabinet is refaced to match the rest of the kitchen for a uniform look. The final result is a beautiful kitchen that now meets your needs.
  2. Your kitchen project is going to have new appliances installed as part of the updated look. Chances are you had what is called in the industry finger pull doors and the new look is going to incorporate handles and knobs. There are now going to be clearance issues which can be easily addressed by the Vianvi Signature® Cabinet Refacing installer. Modifications to the cabinets are done, newly sized replacement parts are ordered and installed and everything works. Why be forced to have to settle with something you do not what simply because the other cabinet company could not do the modifications that were necessary to allow everything to work together.
  3. New appliances such as a refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave hood are part of the new kitchen design. The existing opening is too short for the taller refrigerator and the microwave hood has a specific height clearance that needs to be met in order to meet code requirements. These necessary modifications can be made to the cabinets by the Vianvi Signature® Cabinet Refacing installer and then everything fits and is code compliant. Other cabinet companies are once again going to tell you that they cannot modify the cabinets so new ones will be required or worse, you now have to go on a search all over town to find an appliance that fits your existing openings. You may be forced to keep what you have or worse, be forced into the more expensive full replacement kitchen option.  Why by required to settle for something you do not want simply because you chose a cabinet company that could not do the work that was necessary.
  4. The last example is a common one. Your neighbors across the street are having new full replacement cabinets installed and they can’t help but brag about this lovely 3” crown molding above the upper cabinets they are ordering. The Vianvi Signature® Cabinet Refacing system allows for the installer to modify your existing upper cabinets before the refacing process begins to accommodate for the same sized crown as the neighbor’s cabinets. There is one important thing to remember here, the neighbor had to pay for full replacement cabinets which had to be ordered 3”smaller in height to allow for the tall crown molding. Your original Vianvi Signature® refaced cabinets have been modified and you now have the same interior space as before only with the new larger crown just like your neighbor.

The neighbors kitchen project across the street is taking approximately 3-6 weeks to install and your Vianvi Signature® Cabinet Refacing kitchen complete with modifications for a new refrigerator, micro hood, dishwasher, (3) drawer cabinet and lets not forget about the new 3” crown molding was done in as little as (3) days. Additional items such as new knobs and pulls, pull out drawers in the base cabinets and panty along with a recycle / trash bin convenience option were also part of the new refaced kitchen as well. Everything you wanted without having to settle for anything. Just for fun, invite your neighbors over for dinner in your new refaced kitchen since theirs will not be finished for another couple of weeks and you hate to see them having to go out to eat every night. Make sure not to forget to show them your new wonderful 3” crown molding as well. Did you remember to say it only took (3) days and you saved a lot of money? You’re such a nice neighbor. :)
